ZURICH - Finance Minister Kemal Unakitan arrived in Zurich, Switzerland on Thursday to attend World Economic Forum (WEF) annual meeting that takes place in Davos.
Unakitan later left Zurich for Davos.
Meanwhile, international investment companies showed great interest in State Minister Ali Babacan, who is in Davos to attend the annual WEF meeting.
Babacan met with high-level officials of Merck Sharp Doehrme and Friezer medicine companies in the morning.
Officials of Merck Sharp Doehrme company said that the company faced a difficult situation as the prices of medicines given by Social Security Agency (SSK) was decreased by half.
Friezer company's Central Executive Officer (CEO) Henry A. Mckinnet said that he and Babacan discussed investments in Turkey, adding that he had mentioned problems they faced in investments in Turkey.
