Number Of Tourists Visiting Istanbul Rises By 30 Percent In March

ANKARA - Foreign visitors who came to see the riches of Turkey`s biggest city Istanbul rose by 30.06 percent in March 2007 over the same period last year and reached 462,047.
German tourists came the first in the March figures with 69,917, followed by Russians and the French.
Whereas the number of tourists who visited Istanbul in the first quarter of 2007 increased over 1.1 million.
