Gul: We Hope To Begin Negotiations On Three More Chapters Before Germany's Rotational Presidency Is Over

ANKARA - "We hope that Turkey will begin negotiations on three more chapters before Germany`s rotational presidency is over," said Abdullah Gul, Turkish FM and Deputy PM, on Wednesday.
Gul held a press briefing following his arrival to Ankara from Germany today.
Abdullah Gul stressed that his visit to Germany was designed to introduce the new online consular services (e-consulate project).
"My visit to Germany had the goal to publicize the e-consulate project in Germany and Europe. There are around five million Turkish citizens living in various European countries. They all carry Turkish passports. Therefore, they have close ties to Turkey. They visit our consulates often. Thanks to the new e-consulate project, 85 percent of all consular transactions can take place online," noted Gul.
