Talat: Ending Isolations On Turkish Cypriots Is Only Way For A Solution

ANKARA - "Ending isolations on Turkish Cypriots is the only way for a solution in the island," said Mehmet Ali Talat, President of the Turkish Republic of Northern Cyprus (TRNC), on Wednesday.
Talat delivered a speech on Cyprus issue at Ankara`s Middle East Technical University today.
Asked about whether a solution platform could be established in the European Union (EU) or the United Nations (UN), Talat answered that "the EU does not know the problem in Cyprus. The EU does not have a neutral position in regard to Cyprus. The UN is the right platform to seek for a solution in Cyprus."
