GAZIANTEP - A program titled "Turkey-Pacific Foreign Trade Bridge" will be organized on April 7th and 8th in Istanbul by Turkish Confederation of Industrialists and Businessmen (TUSKON).
220 businessmen from 14 Pacific countries will participate in TUSKON`s program which will also be attended by Turkish businessmen active in industries such as packaging, iron&steel, leather, electric-electronics, pharmaceutials, chemistry, communication, textile, jewelery, mechanical industry, furniture, construction, automotive, health, banking, agriculture, transportation, ceramics and tourism.
Bulent Eser, General Secretary of Federation of Southeastern Industrialists & Businessmen, said that Pacific countries have a trade volume of 2.8 trillion USD of exports and 2.6 trillion USD of imports.
"More than half of the world population live in Pacific countries. This market offers outstanding opportunities," Eser said.
