ISTANBUL/LONDON - Turkish Textile Products Fair was opened in London yesterday, stated Istanbul Textile & Raw Materials Exporters` Union (ITHIB) on Wednesday.
ITHIB Chairman Ismail Gulle told reporters that Britain is the second biggest market for Turkish textile.
Gulle noted that Turkey`s textile export in the first quarter of 2007 is 57.9 million USD, and it increased 8.4 percent over the same period of 2006.
Collections of NEXT, Arcadia Group, Marks & Spencer, Dorothy Perkins, GAP, Debenhams, River Island, Top Shop, Oasis, Sarah Lee, S Oliver and Dewhirst were promoted in the fair.
65 Turkish companies participated in the fair which will end today.
