ANKARA/ISTANBUL - A formal welcoming ceremony was held in honor of Kuwaiti Prime Minister Nasir Al-Muhammad Al-Ahmad Al-Sabah at Prime Ministry HQ on Wednesday.
Al-Sabah is currently in Ankara as the formal guest of Turkish PM Recep Tayyip Erdogan.
Turkish Finance Minister Kemal Unakitan, as well as Industry & Trade Minister Ali Coskun attended the ceremony.
Prior to the ceremony, Al-Sabah visited `Anitkabir`, Ataturk`s Mausoleum.
Following the joint press conference of Erdogan and Al-Sabah, a luncheon will be hosted in honor of guest premier at Prime Ministry residence.
Al-Sabah will also be received by Turkish President Ahmet Necdet Sezer and Turkish Parliament Speaker Bulent Arinc in the afternoon.
Following his meetings in Ankara, Al-Sabah will proceed to Istanbul in the evening.
He will meet Turkish businessmen in Istanbul tomorrow.
Foreign Economic Relations Board (DEIK) stated that Kuwait owns 8 percent of world oil reserves, and earned 45 billion USD from oil in 2006.
