Treasury: Compromise With I.M.F. Has Been Reached On Budget Expenses Cut

ANKARA - The Treasury Undersecretariat has said that the first phase discussions under the seventh review of economic program with the International Monetary Fund (IMF) had been completed.
Releasing a statement on Wednesday, the Treasury Undersecretariat said that compromise had been reached with the IMF on budget expenses cut to meet the burden of increase in minimum wage and pensions on public finance in 2004.
It added that the second phase of seventh review discussions were expected to be held in February.
