Ercakica: Assessment On July 8th Process Was Completed

LEFKOSA - "Assessment on the July 8th process has been completed and a letter including views of TRNC (Turkish Republic of Northern Cyprus) signed by President Mehmet Ali Talat was sent today to Michael Moller, UN Secretary General`s Special Representative in Cyprus," TRNC Presidential Spokesman Hasan Ercakica said.
In a weekly press briefing, Ercakica noted that the letter on the position of TRNC in regard to the July 8th process would also be sent to the United Nations Secretariat.
Recalling that the July 8th process foresees establishment of technical committees aiming to solve problems encountered by the citizens in their daily life, Ercakica stressed, "TRNC clearly put forth its views on the process and keep up contributing to it. Papadopoulos administration should also assume a similar attitude on the matter."
Ercakica also complained that Greek Cypriot administration was always trying to impede relations between the EU and Turkish Cypriots.
