ANKARA - State Minister Ali Babacan will leave for Davos city of Switzerland on Wednesday to attend meetings of the World Economic Forum.
After attending the opening reception on Wednesday night, State Minister Babacan will deliver a speech on Thursday on ''Can rising market economies follow up method of the People's Republic of China about foreign capital investments?''
Babacan is scheduled to attend a luncheon entitled ''Turkey's European Union (EU) Membership Process'' the same day as speaker.
He will deliver another speech at a meeting to be held on Friday on the issue of retirement reform and social security.
Later in the same day, Babacan will attend a meeting on geo-political and global cooperation.
Babacan will also hold a series of bilateral meetings including International Monetary Fund (IMF) First Deputy Managing Director Anne Krueger, government officials of some countries, international businessmen and finance officials.
On Saturday, Prime Minister Recep Tayyip Erdogan will also come to Davos.
Erdogan and Babacan will partake in a luncheon to be hosted by an investment bank in their honor.
