Turkish Sliding Racer Came First In Lake Placid Competitions

ISTANBUL - Turkish skeleton racer Demet Erki Riendeau ranked first in women's skeleton races at the Lake Placid Sliding School in the USA. The races were part of a 10-day program by the International Bobsleigh and Tobogganing Federation designed for training skeleton and bobsleigh athletes.
Canada-based Turkish skeleton racer swept two competitions in skeleton, defeating Switzerland's Jennifer Burkard and Joska Leconte of the Netherlands.
