Turkey Increases Exports To China

TUZMEN: "CHINESE PROCUREMENT DELEGATION AND TURKEY SIGN CONTRACT WORTH USD 1.5 BILLION"

ANKARA - "We have signed an exports contract with the Chinese procurement delegation worth USD 1.5 billion," said Kursad Tuzmen, Turkish State Minister, on Sunday.
In an exclusive interview with the A.A, Tuzmen noted that "Turkish authorities and the Chinese procurement delegation of 35 representatives, who were in Turkey between March 29th and 30th, held successful talks."
The meetings between Turkish businessmen and the Chinese delegation were organized by the Turkish Exporters Assembly.
"Turkish companies and the Chinese delegation made agreements on the sales of iron-steel, chromium, zinc, borax, marbles, wool and textile products," told Tuzmen.
According to Tuzmen, Turkish businesses and the Chinese delegation also signed contracts on hazel-nuts and olive oil. "A delegation comprised of prominent Chinese industrialists will arrive in Turkey this week and visit the Black Sea region of Turkey," remarked Tuzmen.
Tuzmen added that Chinese companies want to work in infrastructure projects in Turkey.
