ANKARA - State Minister and Deputy Prime Minister Abdullatif Sener received on Tuesday International Monetary Fund (IMF) Turkey Desk Chief Reza Moghadam and an accompanying delegation.
Sener said after the meeting that they evaluated economic developments of 2003 and determined that positive developments happened, adding that they made mutual evaluations for the coming period.
Southeast Anatolian Project (GAP) Administration Chairman Muharrem Yasar Ozgul, State Planning Organization (SPO) Undersecretary Ahmet Tiktik and other economy officials attended the meeting.
IMF delegation will complete the first part of Seventh Review meetings and leave Turkey tomorrow.
IMF Representative to Turkey Odd Per Brekk said that they have not decided yet whether they would made a statement.
