ANKARA - Pakistani President Pervez Musharraf who is currently paying an official visit to Turkey, visited Ataturk's Mausoleum on Tuesday.
Musharraf and the accompanying delegation laid wreath in the Mausoleum and paid respect there. Signing the special book of the Mausoleum, Musharraf noted that Ataturk, the founder of modern Turkey was respected in all parts of the world.
Pakistan felt great proud to support and contribute to the fight of Ataturk who succeeded to bring forth a dynamic country from the chaotic atmosphere in those years. Noting that the Pakistani government and people strengthened its cooperation with Turkey since that period, Musharraf said that he was in Ankara to further consolidate the friendly relations between the two countries.
