Turkish Foreign Ministry Delegation in TRNC

LEFKOSA - Foreign Ministry Undersecretary Baki Ilkin and Ministry`s Cyprus Department Chief Ertugrul Apakan started their meetings on Cyprus issue in Turkish Republic of Northern Cyprus (TRNC) on Sunday.
Ilkin and Apakan came to the island to hold meetings for determination of a common approach between Turkey and TRNC before the negotiation process on Cyprus issue started. Ilkin and Apakan met with TRNC President Rauf Denktas.
No statement was released regarding the meeting.
Turkish foreign ministry delegation will meet with TRNC Prime Minister Mehmet Ali Talat and TRNC Foreign Minister and Deputy Prime Minister Serdar Denktas on Monday.
