ANKARA - Treasury will hold three auctions next week to sell bonds and state notes.
Treasury will sell 91-day discounted reference bonds on Monday. The bonds will be issued on January 21, 2004 and repaid on April 21, 2004.
Treasury will sell discounted state notes denominated in Turkish lira (TL) with an interest payment once in three months and 42-day state notes on Tuesday.
The value date of the discounted state notes is January 21, 2004 and the maturity is January 18, 2006. The first coupon payment will be made on April 21, 2004.
The 427-day state notes will be issued on January 21, 2004 and repaid on March 23, 2005.
In its last auction on January 13, Treasury sold 672-day state notes denominated in TL and 546-day discounted state notes denominated in U.S. dollars.
The 672-day state notes denominated in TL had an interest payment of 12.5 percent once in sixth months.
The total bid had been 2 quadrillion 359.8 trillion TL in 672-day state note auction. The Treasury sold 1 quadrillion 442.8 trillion TL of nominal-valued state notes and the net sale became 1 quadrillion 579.7 trillion TL.
The composite interest became 22.17 percent and the simple interest was 21.06 percent in this auction.
In the 546-day auction, the total bid had been 750.3 million U.S. dollars. The Treasury sold 737.3 million U.S. dollars of nominal-valued state notes and the net sale became 693.9 million U.S. dollars.
The simple interest became 4.16 percent and the composite interest was 4.12 percent in this auction.
Treasury will repay 4 quadrillion 667 trillion TL in domestic debt next week.
