SKOPJE - Turkish Foreign Minister Abdullah Gul attended Turkey-Macedonia Business Council meeting in Skopje on Wednesday.
Speaking at the meeting, Gul said that there is a perfect cooperation between Turkey and Macedonia in political and defense areas. He added that governments of the two countries have the required will to boost economic relations as well.
Noting that necessary infrastructure is ready to develop economic relations, Gul said that this development will be achieved by businessmen, adding that governments are supporting businessmen in this issue.
Gul wanted trade volume between Turkey and Macedonia to be increased, and said that investments and partnerships are constituting the real potential in this issue.
Gul said that the investors seek confidence in the countries they will make investment, adding that Turkey achieved this. "Last year, Turkey drew 22 billion USD of foreign capital," he noted.
Gul expressed belief that many Macedonian businessmen will see the attraction of Turkey and make investments.
Macedonian Foreign Minister Antonio Milososki and businessmen also attended the meeting.
