We Want To Open Turcology Department At Havana University, Abascal

ESKISEHIR - We are eager to open Department of Turcology at Havana University, said Cuban Ambassador to Turkey Ernesto Gomez Abascal.
Abascal paid a visit to (central city) Eskisehir Mayor Yilmaz Buyukersen on Wednesday.
Stating that they wanted to boost economic and cultural relations between Turkey and Cuba, Albascal noted that there has been a great progress in cooperation between the two countries.
Albascal indicated that Cuban authorities were exerting great efforts to introduce Cuba to Turkish people.
On the other hand, Buyukersen said, "we want to see Cuban artists participating in activities held in Eskisehir. We are inviting Cuban artists and musicians to the International Eskisehir Festival."
