ANKARA - Pakistani Minister of Education Javed Ashraf Qazi paid a visit to Turkish National Education Minister Huseyin Celik in Ankara on Wednesday.
Speaking at the meeting, Celik pointed to the friendly ties between Turkey and Pakistan, and indicated that, ``Turkey and Pakistan acted together on international matters."
"In the wake of the quake in Pakistan, education ministries of Turkey and Pakistan cooperated. Turkish children sent their pocket money to the Pakistani victims," he added.
On the other hand Qazi said his visit aims at boosting bilateral relations on education.
Qazi said they wanted more Pakistani university students to be educated in Turkey, "these students will boost our relations that have roots deep in history."
