ANKARA - Foreign exchange reserves of the Central Bank decreased by 357 million U.S. dollars between January 2 and 9, 2004.
According to the Central Bank's weekly bulletin, the Central Bank's foreign exchange reserves which were 33 billion 724 million U.S. dollars on January 2 decreased to 33 billion 367 million U.S. dollars on January 2, 2004.
Total foreign exchange reserves of banks and private finance organizations increased 309 million U.S. dollars from 14 billion 565 million U.S. dollars to 14 billion 874 million U.S. dollars between December 19 and 26, 2003.
The international reserves of Turkey comprising gold reserves and foreign exchange reserves of the Central Bank, commercial banks and private finance organizations increased 1 billion 738 million U.S. dollars from 48 billion 55 million U.S. dollars to 49 billion 793 million U.S. dollars between December 19 and 26, 2003.
