ANKARA - Union of Turkish Chambers and Commodity Exchanges (TOBB) Chairman Rifat Hisarciklioglu met on Thursday with International Monetary Fund (IMF) Turkey Desk Chief Reza Moghadam.
Following the meeting which lasted for about one hour, Hisarciklioglu said that unemployment was a big problem and stated that they should encourage investments to get rid of this problem.
Hisarciklioglu said that Moghadam and he discussed developments in 2003 and expectations in 2004 and added that external factors would also be important in economy in 2004.
Moghadam said that the meeting was very good.
