Istanbul Olympic Games Preparation And Organization Board Sends Turkey's Candidacy File To O.I.C.

ISTANBUL - Istanbul Olympic Games Preparation and Organization Board (HDK) has sent Turkey's candidacy file to the International Olympic Committee (IOC) to host the Olympic Games in 2012.
Releasing a statement on Thursday, the Board said that the file and promotion CDs were prepared in English and French.
IOC Executive Board will determine candidate cities to host the Olympic Games in 2012 at its meeting on May 18, 2004 by taking into consideration files of Istanbul, Havana (Cuba), Leipzig (Germany), London (Britain), Madrid (Spain), Moscow (Russia), New York (the United States), Paris (France) and Rio de Janeiro (Brazil).
