SOFIA - Finance Minister Kemal Unakitan, who is currently in Sofia on a two-day official visit, met on Wednesday with Bulgarian Prime Minister Simeon Saxe-Coburg-Gotha.
Bulgarian Finance Minister Milen Velchev also attended the meeting. Relations and cooperation in economy between the two countries were discussed in the meeting.
Before his meeting with Saxe-Coburg-Gotha, Unakitan met with Turkish businessmen in Bulgaria. Unakitan listened problems of them.
Unakitan stressed that Bulgaria was a good investment field for Turkish businessmen and said that Bulgaria would be a member of the European Union (EU) soon. He added that's why Turkish businessmen should have bigger goals in this country.
Unakitan will have meetings with Bulgarian President Georgi Purvanov and Parliament Speaker Ognyan Gercikov on Thursday.
