ANKARA - Turkish Ministry of Foreign Affairs said on Saturday that National Unity Government established in Palestine was considered as a new hope within the scope of peace efforts and expectations of Palestinian people.
MFA statement on the matter indicated that, "the National Unity Government in Palestine has to deal with difficult tasks such as ensuring internal peace, and re-operating the institutions.
The statement emphasized that it is a fundamental necessity that the National Unity Government has to get full support of the international community to meet the expectations of people and to fulfill its assignments properly.
"Thus the new government will also assist establishment of dialogue between Palestine and Israel," the statement noted.
"Establishment of the new government in Palestine paved the way for a valuable opportunity to restore public order in Palestine and to enliven the peace process. All the related parties should act in common sense and responsibility to utilize this opportunity," the MFA statement remarked.
"Within this framework, the international community is expected to assume an unprejudiced and encouraging approach towards new Palestinian government," the statement noted.
