European Commission President Prodi To Deliver A Speech At Parliament

ANKARA - European Commission President Romano Prodi will deliver a speech at the parliament on Thursday.
Prodi who will pay a visit to Turkey as the guest of Prime Minister Recep Tayyip Erdogan on January 15 and 16 will also have a meeting with Parliament Speaker Bulent Arinc.
Prodi who will visit the parliament on January 15 will address the Parliamentary General Assembly.
A statement released by Foreign Ministry said that Prodi was the first European Commission President who would visit Turkey since 1963 when Ankara Agreement was signed.
