ANKARA - Turkish Labor & Social Affairs Minister Murat Basesgioglu flew to Germany today to participate in the Social Partners Conference "Employment and Social Dialogue within the framework of the Euro-Mediterrenean Partnership".
Before he left for German capital of Berlin, Basesgioglu told A.A correspondent that approaches to increase impact of Barcelona process and EU association policy on employment.
Basesgioglu will later attend the panel discussion on EU and Turkey Relations from the perspective of Turkish and German unions, to be organized by Union of European Turkish Democrats (UETD) and Turkish-German Center.
Minister Basesgioglu is to meet head of the international trade union policy department of the German Confederation of Trade Unions (DGB), and representatives of Turkish NGOs after the panel discussion in Turkish House in Berlin.
