NUSAYBIN - "Union of Chambers & Commodity Exchanges of Turkey (TOBB) has accepted to construct a new border pass in Nusaybin," Ersin Emiroglu, the Sub-governor of Nusaybin town of southeastern city of Mardin on Thursday.
Emiroglu said the border pass will advocate and be an alternative to Habur Border Pass.
"We will carry out a joint work with the Finance Ministry and General Staff to sweep off the area from land mines on 316,000 square meters area for the new border pass," he said.
Emiroglu said the border pass will serve the international shipping and ensure transportation of goods and services via Turkey and Syria.
