ISTANBUL - Sudanese Foreign Trade Minister George Boreng Niyami, who is currently in Turkey on a formal visit, stated that they tried hard to improve their private sector and they had to talk less and do more work so as to achieve this goal.
Niyami participated in the signing ceremony of a bilateral cooperation agreement between Confederation of Businessmen and Industrialists of Turkey (TUSKON) and Sudanese Businessmen`s and Employers` Federation (SBEF).
Delivering a speech at the ceremony, Niyami said Sudan had great resources, underscoring that it only needed a well imaginative power and determination.
Pointing out that Turkey and Sudan had many opportunities to boost the current bilateral relations, Niyami said this potential power should be turned into concrete projects that would be beneficial for both countries.
Niyami invited Turkish entrepreneurs to Sudan in order to achieve this goal as well.
Meanwhile, chairman of TUSKON Rizanur Meral emphasized that the investments to be carried out in several sectors, especially the ones whose raw materials existed in Sudan, would be quite successful.
Meral noted that there was an investment potential in many areas in Sudan such as leather, dairy products and food processing.
