ISTANBUL - The tender to sell a valuable plot that belongs to IETT (Istanbul`s public transportation board), located in Levent district of Istanbul, will be held in March 21st.
Istanbul Metropolitan Municipality released today a statement saying three buyers who offered the highest prices will take part in the open bidding. If newcomers would also offer prices as high as the three had offered, they may also attend the auction, sources said.
According to the statement, the estimated value of the 46,000 sq.m. land piece is 256.9 million YTL plus VAT (one dollar equals 1.43 YTL).
10 firms bought bid specifications up to now, it was learned.
It is stated that the tender will be broadcast live on TV channels.
