ISTANBUL - Banks Association of Turkey (TBB) Executive Board Chairman Ersin Ozince said on Monday that they exchanged view on recovery in economy with International Monetary Fund (IMF) delegation in the meeting.
IMF delegation led by Turkey Desk Chief Reza Moghadam, met with administrators of TBB. The meeting lasted for about one and a half hours.
Following the meeting, Ozince said that they exchanged view on activity in economy with IMF delegation and stated, ''we explained our views that it will continue. We also exchanged view on the future of banking sector with the delegation. It was a positive meeting. There was not any special agenda in the meeting.''
Stating that Banks Law was brought onto the agenda in the meeting and assessments were made on this issue, Ozince said that they thought that current Banks Law was one of the laws which complied with international standards.
