Denktas Congratulates New Government In T.R.N.C.

LEFKOSA - TRNC President Rauf Denktas expressed his hope on Sunday that the coalition government formed by Republican Turkish Party (CTP) and Democrat Party (DP) to be beneficial to the country.
Responding to questions of A.A correspondent on the phone, Denktas who was in Istanbul said that ''my expectation from the government is to see it as one which will protect TRNC state, and which will work for the prosperity and happiness of the people.''
Denktas called all political parties to show the necessary sensitivity to protect the rights of the Turkish Cypriot nation at this important stage of Cyprus issue.
Denktas will return to TRNC on Monday afternoon.
