Kucukali Resigns From Anavatan

ANKARA - Goksal Kucukali, a deputy from Istanbul, resigned from Motherland Party (ANAVATAN) on Wednesday.
In his resignation petition Kucukali said, "difficult and problematic days wait for our nation in the coming days. I resign from ANAVATAN to cast vote with my free will in presidential election."
Number of ANAVATAN`s seats in the parliament dropped to 20 following Kucukali`s resignation.
In case number of its seats reduce below 20, ANAVATAN will lose required number to form a group in the parliament.
Below is the current distribution of seats in the Turkish parliament:

ANAVATAN : 20

SHP : 1
HYP : 1
GP : 1
Independent: 10
Vacant : 6

Total : 550
