WASHINGTON D.C. - Turkish parliamentary delegation has begun holding talks in Washington D.C. over the draft resolution on so-called Armenian genocide, which was earlier submitted to the U.S. House of Representatives.
The delegation met representatives of press organs, and attended a meeting hosted by the Turkish-American Council.
Later, parliamentarians met representatives of some Jewish organizations.
The delegation is expected to hold talks with U.S. Under Secretary of State for Political Affairs Nick Burns later in the day.
The delegation will continue holding talks with U.S. congressmen tomorrow.
