ANKARA - Indonesian MPs paid a courtesy visit to Turkish Parliament and met Internal Affairs Committee members today in Ankara.
The Indonesian delegation, including Dra Chairunnisa, who heads the special committee at the Indonesian House of Representatives that deals with the pornography law, had a meeting with Ziyaeddin Akbulut, the chairman of the internal affairs committee.
During the meeting, Akbulut underlined historical and cultural ties between the two countries.
On the other hand, Chairunnisa said that the Indonesian parliament has been trying to pass a pornography law for about ten years.
"We would like to make use of your studies (regarding this matter) if you have any," Chairunnisa added.
