Turkey - EU Troika's Political Directors To Meet In Ankara

ANKARA - The political directors of Turkey-EU Troika will have a meeting in Ankara tomorrow, Turkish MFA announced today.
According to a statement by the Ministry, the meeting will be held at the level of deputy undersecretaries.
The Ministry noted that these meetings are held once during the presidency of each EU member state, and Turkish and EU executives discuss things to be done on Turkey`s possible accession to the EU, as well as regional and international matters.
The EU Troika consists of the political directors of Germany, which is holding the rotating EU presidency, its predecessor Finland and its successor Portugal; and executives of the European Commission and Council.
