WASHINGTON D.C. - Turkish parliamentarians arrived in Washington D.C. today to lobby against the resolution on the so-called Armenian genocide, presented to the U.S. House of Representatives.
Turkish MPs are to meet executives of the U.S. Department of State and members of Jewish organizations, and participate in a meeting to be organized by Turkish American Council.
This is the second parliamentary delegation visiting the United States. The first one lobbied against the resolution in the previous weeks.
Another parliamentary delegation is expected to arrive in Washington D.C. at the end of this month.
