GAZIANTEP - Turkish gendarmery confiscated 107 kilograms of heroin in Nurdagi town of southeastern city of Gaziantep today.
Acting on a tip-off, gendarmery forces stopped a lorry on Gaziantep-Nurdagi highway, and found 107 kilograms of heroin hidden in the lorry.
The heroin was smuggled from abroad, and was destined for Istanbul.
The driver of the lorry was detained in the operation.
