ANKARA - Turkish Prime Minister Recep Tayyip Erdogan has cancelled a two-day visit to Albania, which he should have begun Tuesday, because he is unwell, his press service announced.
"The prime minister's visit has been put back to a later date on health grounds," it said in a statement.
Erdogan, 52, had to leave a cabinet meeting on Monday because of back pains, the media reported. His doctors advised him to rest.
Erdogan was admitted to hospital as an emergency last October after he fainted due to hypoglycemia or low blood sugar during the Muslim fasting month of Ramadan.
