Turkish Red Crescent And U.A.E. Red Crescent To Make Cooperation

ANKARA - Turkish Red Crescent and United Arab Emirates (UAE) Red Crescent reached an agreement on establishment of a regional logistic center in Turkey.
Releasing a written statement, Turkish Red Crescent Association said on Saturday that equipment and materials, ambulance and medical materials would be in the center to be established either in Ankara or in Istanbul. The materials and equipment will be provided from Small and Medium Scale Enterprises (SMSEs).
Sides agreed that training which will be given to personnel and volunteers in regional education and conference center will be broadened to Red Crescents of Qatar and other Islamic countries.
UAE Red Crescent will visit Turkey between February 29 and March 4 and it will sign a protocol worth of 130 million dollars with Turkish Red Crescent.
