BERLIN - Michael Frenzel, chairman of the German tour operator TUI, stated that Turkey would become one of the most important tourism centres in the world in near future.
In a meeting with journalists at TUI's HQ in German capital of Berlin, Frenzel made statements regarding Turkish tourism, together with TUI's advisor on Turkey Huseyin Baraner.
Underscoring that "Turkey would be the most popular tourism destination of the upcoming century", Frenzel said the country would show a remarkable progress soon, both in terms of revenue and number of tourists it receives.
Indicating that Turkey possessed a wide range of richnesses, Frenzel noted, above all things, the country had the unique "Turkish hospitality" which could not be witnessed anywhere else in the world.
Stressing that Germans constituted the leading tourist group that visited Turkey frequently, Frenzel said Turkey was an attractive and interesting location for these tourists with its unique structure.
