ANKARA - Turkish Prime Minister Recep Tayyip Erdogan will pay a formal visit to Albania on Tuesday at an invitation from his Albanian counterpart Sali Berisha.
Erdogan and a Turkish delegation of deputies and businessmen will be in Albania between March 13th and 14th, 2007.
PM Erdogan is scheduled to meet the Albanian president, prime minister, foreign minister and main opposition party leader while in Albania.
According to the Turkish Prime Ministry Press Center, Erdogan and Albanian officials will discuss political, economic and cultural relations between the two countries.
The meetings between Erdogan's delegation and Albanian officials will also focus on developing mutual investments and commercial relations.
PM Erdogan will attend the meeting of Turkey-Albania Business Council and address Turkish and Albanian businessmen at the meeting. He will also meet members of the Turkish Armed Forces serving in Albania as part of the Consultancy and Coordination Team (DAKOT).
