TEHRAN - The wife and children of Ali Reza Asghari, former deputy defense minister of Iran who went missing after checking into an Istanbul hotel on December 7th, have asked information regarding the fate of their relative from the Turkish Embassy in the Iranian capital of Tehran.
Asghari's wife Sima Ahmedi, together with her three children and brother, met Turkish Embassy Undersecretary Devrim Ozturk on Monday.
She claimed that her husband was kidnapped during his stay in Turkey, and added that she could not hear from him for the last 95 days.
Meanwhile, Ozturk said in his part that authorities in Turkey had been monitoring developments about whereabouts of Asghari fastidiously.
