WASHINGTON - USA Ambassador to Baghdad Zalmay Khalilzad said Turkey offered to host the foreign ministers meeting on Iraq.
Khalilzad who answered questions on NBC television said Turkey offered to host the meeting of FMs that is expected to take place in April. He added that the Iraqi FM Hoshyar Mahmud Zebari will first consult the neighbouring countries and in case of agreement the meeting might be held in Turkey.
Five permanent members of the United Nations Security Council and the FMs of G-8 countries are expected to attend the prospective meeting, in addition to Iraq's neighbouring countries .
