Total Deposits At Banks Increase To 150.1 Quadrillion Tl

ANKARA - Total deposits at banks increased 12.6 percent in 2003 to 150 quadrillion 131.4 trillion TL as of December 26, 2003.
The Central Bank data show that the total deposits were 133 quadrillion 311 trillion TL on December 27.
Excluding inter-bank deposits, the total deposits, which were 146 quadrillion 61.8 trillion TL on December 19, increased 1 quadrillion 288.9 trillion TL to 147 quadrillion 350.7 trillion TL on December 26.
The total foreign exchange deposits under total deposits at banks decreased 4.2 percent from 74 quadrillion 537.4 trillion TL on December 19 to 71 quadrillion 371.9 trillion TL on December 26.
The total TL deposits increased 34.5 percent to 75 quadrillion 978.8 trillion from 56 quadrillion 480.7 trillion in 2003.
