BERN - Turkish Justice Minister Cemil Cicek, currently on a formal visit to Switzerland, met Swiss Justice Minister Christoph Blocher.
Swiss Justice Ministry in a statement said this was the first visit of a Turkish Justice Minister to Switzerland.
The statement said meeting of Cicek and Blocher should be considered as an important step in boosting bilateral relations.
According to the statement, Blocher particularly focused on integration of Turkish citizens living in Switzerland.
More than 100,000 Turkish origin people are living in Switzerland.
The statement also said Blocher gave information to Cicek about the strategy of Switzerland in fight against international terrorism.
