Turkey Obtains An Income Of $399 Million Through Exports Of Hazelnut

TRABZON - Turkey obtained an income of 399 million U.S. dollars through hazelnut export on the 18th week of the export season.
According to figures of Black Sea Hazelnut and Products Exporters' Association, Turkey gained 399 million 719 thousand 91 U.S. dollars by exporting 110 thousand 881 tones of hazelnut in the 18th week of 2003-2004 season that started on September 1.
In the same period of the previous season, Turkey had exported 149 thousand 271 tones of hazelnut and obtained an income of 335 million 167 thousand 538 U.S. dollars.
