ANKARA - A parliamentary investigation was launched against former Public Works and Housing Minister Yasar Topcu.
The motion submitted to the parliament by Haluk Koc, a deputy of the Republican People's Party (CHP) and 55 other deputies, was put to vote on Tuesday.
A total of 373 deputies attended the vote at the Parliamentary General Assembly. 342 of them cast their votes in favor of the motion while 20 of them cast their votes against it.
The motion accused former Public Works and Housing Minister Topcu of causing the state to suffer a heavy loss by arranging prices and preventing competition in the tender for the Black Sea coast road.
