LEFKOSA - Republican Turkish Party (CTP) leader Mehmet Ali Talat, who was designated to form the government by Turkish Republic of Northern Cyprus (TRNC) President Rauf Denktas, visited Peace and Democracy Movement (BDH) leader Mustafa Akinci on Monday.
Talat, who visited BDH following the letter sent by National Unity Party (UBP), said that they had reached a deadlock with UBP on forming the government, adding that the issue was closed with them.
Talat said that if UBP would be designated to form the government, they were not thinking to talk with UBP again at the moment.
Talat said in regard to the position of negotiator that Turkey could want Denktas as a negotiator, but this mission belonged to government.
