Turkish Teams In Bam To Return To Turkey

BAM - Turkish search-and-rescue and health teams which came to Bam city in Iran in the wake of last week's devastating quake, will return to Turkey late on Sunday.
Turkish Red Crescent and Ministry of Public Works and Settlement officials will continue to exert efforts in the quake region.
Turkish teams including 110 people will leave Bam for Turkey this night.
Four cargo planes which will come to Bam to take Turkish teams to Turkey will also bring 20 tons of foodstuff and medicine to the region.
Red Crescent and Ministry of Public Works and Settlement officials will stay in Bam for coordination of humanitarian aid.
Iranian government officials expressed their gratitude to Prime Ministry Emergency Administration Directorate General Department Chief Selahattin Durmaz.
Sources said that Turkey's aids to this country amounted 1 million 200 U.S. dollars.
Iranian people who have suffered from quake started to settle in tent city which was set up by Turkish Red Crescent.
