ANKARA - U.S. Embassy's Commercial Service will brief industrialists in Ankara about ''making business in Iraq.''
A statement of Ankara Chamber of Industry (ASO) said on Sunday that American officials who worked in Baghdad, the United States and Ankara would give a briefing to industrialists in Ankara.
U.S. civil administrator in Iraq Paul Bremer's assistance Robert Connan for economic affairs will also come to Turkey for the seminar. Seminars will be held in Ankara and Istanbul.
Industrialists will be informed on works which will be carried out for development of commercial opportunities and investments in Iraq in the seminar which will be held within the scope of regional program that the U.S. government launched to support re-construction of Iraq.
ASO chairman Zafer Caglayan, U.S. Embassy Chief Counselor Robert Deutsch, U.S. Trade and Development Agency (TDA) Turkey Director Jennifer Snyder, American Eximbank Turkey Director Paul Tumminia and Overseas Private Investment Corporation (OPIC) Investment Development Director Peter Balinger will make presentations in the seminar which will be held in ASO assembly hall on January 6.
